School District of Beloit Announces Renovations for Beloit Memorial High School and Hackett Elementary School
The School District of Beloit announced Monday it will embark on several important facility projects this summer, most of which target Beloit Memorial High School.
In addition to the recently-completed lighting upgrade at Jacobson Stadium, the District said it will take on a $5 million HVAC renovation for Beloit Memorial High School. The project is expected to be completed by August, and includes significant air conditioning and boiler updates, providing better climate control throughout most of the building.
The District said it will also upgrade the main fire alarm panel and transponders at the high school, which will enhance the building's safety infrastructure.
The District said its last renovation will focus on the leaky roof of Hackett Elementary School, which will be replaced with a brand-new roof for certain older sections.
