The School District of Beloit embraces and values the work and commitment of our Volunteers.

As a School District of Beloit Volunteer, you become part of our SDB family supporting the success of our students. For the benefit of our students, we expect our volunteers to set an example of professionalism, good conduct, and dependability. Volunteers must abide by the Board Volunteer Policy and follow all School District of Beloit Board Policies. The School District of Beloit requires all volunteers to complete a volunteer application and submit to a background check, which can take up to 10 business days. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Please know, all volunteer information is kept confidential at all times.

1. Fill out and submit the Online Volunteer Application 

2. If you reside in a state other than Wisconsin, or you have lived in the state of Wisconsin for less than 10 years, you must also complete an InfoMart Form. You must download the InfoMart Form and email it to volunteer@sdb.k12.wi.us or drop it off at the Kolak Education Center at 1500 Fourth Street. 

3. Background Check - The safety and well-being of our students, staff and volunteers is our number one priority. Therefore, the district will conduct criminal background checks on all volunteers who work directly with and/or have access to students. Background checks will be conducted prior to volunteering. The district reserves the right to conduct additional background checks periodically thereafter.

4. Approval/Denial Notice - You will receive an email from volunteer@sdb.k12.wi.us regarding your volunteer application approval or denial.

Please note, your volunteer application may take up to two weeks to process.

*In order to volunteer in the School District of Beloit you must complete a volunteer application form every three years. Applications are valid from August 1 through July 31*

1. Complete la solicitud en línea para ser voluntario 

2. Si usted vive en un estado que no sea Wisconsin, o si ha vivido en el estado de Wisconsin por menos de 10 años, también tiene que completar el formulario de InfoMart. Debe descargar el formulario de InfoMart  y enviarlo por correo electrónico a volunteer@sdb.k12.wi.us o llevarlo al Kolak Education Center localizado en el 1500 Fourth Street. 

3. Verificación de antecedentes - La seguridad y el bienestar de nuestros estudiantes, personal y los voluntarios de nuestro Distrito es nuestra prioridad. Por lo tanto, el Distrito realiza verificaciones de antecedentes penales de todos los voluntarios que trabajan directamente con los estudiantes y/o tienen contacto con ellos. La verificacion de antecedentes se realizará antes de ser voluntario. El Distrito tiene el derecho de realizar verificaciones de antecedentes adicionales periódicamente.

4. Aviso de aprobación/denegación - Usted recibira un correo electronico de volunteer@sdb.k12.wi.us con respecto a su aprobación o denegación de su solicitud de voluntario.

Por favor tome en cuenta que su aplicación puede tomar hasta dos semanas para ser procesada.

*Para ser voluntario en el Distrito Escolar de Beloit, usted debe completar el formulario de solicitud cada tres años. Solicitudes son válidas del 1ro de agosto al 31 de julio*
