The third annual Southern Lakes Conference Leadership Summit was hosted at the Eclipse Center by Beloit Memorial High School Athletic Director Jonathan Dupuis, in collaboration with the SLC Conference Commissioner Tim Owens and SLC athletic directors.
The event was attended by all eight schools in the SLC (Badger, Beloit Memorial, Burlington, Elkhorn, Waterford, Westosha Central, Wilmot and Union Grove).
Twenty-five representatives from each school, including student-athletes, athletic directors, administration and coaches were in attendance, bringing the total number of participants to 200.
The summit provided a platform for thought-provoking discussion, collaborative initiatives and strategic insights aimed at shaping the future of the SLC. The event advances the mission of fostering leadership and excellence within the SLC.
Travis Daughtery, the founder and director of the Champions 101 sports performance and leadership development program, served as keynote speaker. Daughtery partners with teams, programs and organizations around the country to help them reach their potential and help them maximize their performance.
