Beloit Memorial's Sarah Ramsden Captures First in Meet Against Wilmot
It isn’t even September yet, but Beloit Memorial golfer Sarah Ramsden has started the season splendidly.
The senior Purple Knight earned her third medalist finish of the season after taking first in a dual with Wilmot at Krueger-Haskell Golf Course on Wednesday morning.
Ramsden shot a round of even par, finishing with an overall score of 37, which was seven shots better than second-place Payton Morton.
She won the outing by recording two birdies, five pars and two bogeys.
Ramsden also finished first in a duals meet with Waterford and Union Grove while finishing in a three-way tie for second against Westosha Central, which is the top-ranked team in Division 1.
The Purple Knight will be back at it again on Tuesday at the Goldeneye Club in Badger.
