Beloit Health System Counseling Center

  • What is the Beloit Health System Counseling Center?
The Beloit Health System Counseling Center is a mental health clinic that is located on campus at Beloit Memorial High School. Beloit Health System (BHS) is the partnering health care organization that provides services to students enrolled in the School District of Beloit. It is the Counseling Center's commitment to assure that all students receive high quality, mental health care with the added convenience of being in the school, where students spend most of their day. Certainly, a student that is healthy is better equipped to learn and achieve academic success.

    Services and Hours of Operation
Counseling services are provided on campus at 1225 Fourth Street in Beloit Memorial High School. Appointments can be scheduled on Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Please call 608-361-3032 to schedule an appointment. The Counseling Center is closed on days when students are not in attendance.

All students enrolled in the School District of Beloit are able to access services offered at the Counseling Center. Students who attend BMHS may use the Center at a time that is convenient for them, such as during study hall, with the proper consents on file. All other students (4K-8th) must have a parent/guardian present for their visit.

    Enrollment and Parental Consent
For students to receive mental health services available at the Counseling Center, parents/guardians must sign a parental consent form. The Counseling Center can only provide care to students who are enrolled through consent; therefore, it is important for parents to enroll their child by returning a signed Parental Consent Form.

Insurance, whether commercial insurance or Medicaid, will be billed for services. However, NO student will be refused care based on their ability to pay. If a student is uninsured, the Counseling Center staff can direct you to resources that will help you find an insurance plan this is right for you and your family.
