Knights Choir (9th - 12th Grade Men and Women)

     Knights Choir

The Knight Choir is an ensemble made up of students who believe all can sing.  In this new course, students enrolled in general education classes are paired up with those who are a part of our Special Education Department.  Students learn a variety of music from multiple genres, create and perform choreography, and participate in performances that cater to their skills and exceptionalities.  Creation of this ensemble has helped expose students with cognitive disabilities to music, singing, and has helped made the Special Education Department more visible and apart of the culture here at Beloit Memorial High School.  Rehearsals are geared towards preparation for a formal Knight Choir concert to be held at the end of the school year.  Students must speak with Mr. Truby before enrolling in the Knight Choir.  You do not have to be in a separate ensemble to be involved in Knight Choir!
