BMHS Student Anahi Arroyo to Sing National Anthem at UW Women's Hockey Game
The Beloit Memorial High School junior is an accomplished singer and branched out from performing the National Anthem at various Purple Knight sporting events last year to singing at a Rockford University basketball game and before Beloit Sky Carp games this past summer.

Beloit Memorial golfer Sarah Ramsden not only won a WIAA Division 1 regional meet hosted at the Rivermoor Golf Club, she dominated it.

Girls on the Run Empowering Students at Converse, Gaston, Robinson and Todd
There’s a nine-week season that culminates in a 5K walk and run event in Waunakee. Each day, groups have a 90-minute practice. There are lessons on life skills like empathy, how to be a good friend and decision making. Discussions on those topics are followed by a running activity, like relays or games of tag.

BMHS Team Headed to Make48 Nationals
The Purple Knights won first place for their idea that aided farmers in their crop drying time. Ray Watkins, Moises Guerrero Sandoval, Dulce Figueroa, and Brooklyn Watkins collaborated on their modular design for the farming community. Not only does it save time and money, but it’s environmentally friendly.

Blackboard Notifications
Blackboard is a rapid notification system used to contact families in School District of Beloit (SDB) via telephone messages, text messages, and email messages.The district uses this system to communicate information related to districtwide events, including safety alerts, key school dates, and school closings due to inclement weather. Schools also may use the system to communicate information related to school events as well as automated attendance messages.
In order to receive messages you need to be a parent/guardian of an enrolled student in the School District of Beloit. Please keep your contact information up to date with your school.
If you have opted out of messages you can opt back in by:
Phone Calls: Call the Blackboard Phone Hotline at "855-502-STOP (855-502-7867)" from the phone line that has been opted out.
Text Messages: Reply START to "60680" from the phone line that has been opted out for non-emergency messages. Reply START to "54968" for emergency messages.

What is Skyward?
Skyward is an electronic tool that can be accessed by computer, tablet or mobile device with internet access. Families can see their child's demographic information, attendance data, student payment information, meal activity, schedule, progress reports, grades, report cards, discipline information and more!
First Time Users Should Contact Their Child's School Office to Set Up Access
Report cards post electronically in Skyward portfolio and family access instead of being mailed home. Paper copies of report cards and progress reports will still be available at schools for parents who request them. Interested parents should contact their student's principal.Updating Your Information
Updating your information on Skyward is essential. This information is also utilized for our Mass Notification system that will call, text and email you messages for districtwide events, including safety alerts, key school dates, and school closings due to inclement weather. To update your information please log in to your Skyward account and follow the steps in the video below.Questions
