• Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

Discipline at school isn't just detention anymore! PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is a program designed to help correct unwanted behaviors at school by rewarding good behaviors rather than just punishing the unwanted ones.
For the staff, PBIS involves keeping track of unwanted behaviors. By keeping track of when and where negative behaviors happen most often, we can focus our energy on those areas and behaviors first.
Both students and staff benefit from PBIS as a disciplinary program. Students get the encouragement to continue making good choices and everyone gets to enjoy a safer and more smoothly run school.
