Ms. Megan Hauri is not only helping students, but also their families learn English, which positively impacts the school as a whole. Ms. Hauri has been a teacher for 18 years, and the last 12 have been at Hackett Elementary.

Beloit Memorial High School Teams Earn Junior Achievement Scholarships
First and second place winners were from Beloit Memorial High School. A $500 scholarship was awarded to Merrick Wales and Harrisdeep Sembhi. Jaidyn Cox and Jackson Moore each won a $250 scholarship.

BMHS Senior, Miguel Angel Olivera, Involved in the Design of the "Challenge Coins" for USS Beloit
One of the coin designers, Miguel Angel Olivera, is a senior at Beloit Memorial High School and already has enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He is scheduled to attend boot camp on July 11, after graduation. “It’s an honor to represent the people of Beloit on the coin,” Olivera said.
