FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Parents and Guardians,
It is hard to believe we are half over with another school year! As we move into Spring (and Spring Break), I want to thank all of you for your support of your children and Robinson School! I am proud of our community and the partnership we have. Thank you to all that are involved with volunteering here int he PTO, classrooms, and for events like our Soul Food Dinner that was a huge success!
I also want to welcome Dr. Cole and his wife who brought the YES! (Young Eagles Soar) club to our school. Dr. Cole uses music and positive messages to inspire social emotional growth in our students. He works with students through our after school program and the response has been an overwhelming YES!
As we move through the second half of the year, our third grade students will be taking the state Forward Exam after break. This is an important test that shows where our students are compared to the state. Please talk with your third grade students to make sure that they do their best on this assessment.
Finally, as a reminder, please make sure your child(ren) are to school on time and here every day. Robinson's report card reflects attendance rates and we have MANY students that have too many tardies and absences. There is so much going on in schools these days that any amount of lost time is difficult to make up. Please make sure they are here so that we can reach them! Also, please make sure your child(ren) read(s) every night! Reading is one of the best indicators of future success in your student.
Again, thank you for your support! I look forward to seeing you here at Robinson in the future!
Greetings from the Robinson School PTO!
We can all agree that the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) of Robinson School is for the benefit of our children. But did you know volunteering can enable you to learn new skills? Better yet, volunteering for PTO would really look great on a job resume. Volunteering can make it easier for you to meet parents, teachers and others who make up the school staff. Volunteering shows your children that you are an active partner with Robinson School.
Why not attend a meeting to find out where YOU can utilize, share and develop your talents? YOUR ideas and suggestions are welcome! There are no dues to pay!
You may submit your name, phone and/or email if you would like to volunteer There is a sign-up sheet in the Robinson School office.
We look forward to meeting and collaborating together!
The mission of the Robinson Elementary School Team is to foster student success in a safe and nurturing environment which prepares our students to be thriving community member.
