Hello Converse Cougar Families,
On behalf of the entire Converse Cougar staff, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year of growing and learning at Converse. We look forward to working with you and your child as we begin another exciting school year. Our staff is excited to have students back in our Converse classrooms filling them with positive energy and enthusiasm for learning.
It is our mission to make every student feel welcomed, connected, valued, and a part of the Converse Cougar family. In order for students to be successful, they need support from both home and school. At Converse trust, respect, communication, and community are of utmost importance as we commit to academic and social success for all students. We ask that you help us guide, support, and strengthen your child’s learning by ensuring that your child:
● Attends school daily and arrives on time● Reads daily at home● Participates with a growth mindset● Knows that you believe in their personal academic and social success● Shares their school experiences with you
I am honored to serve as the principal of Converse Elementary School. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community with a shared commitment to build positive relationships that support academic success and social growth. I look forward to a successful school year and working in partnership with you to help prepare our Converse Cougars to be future leaders.

Hello Converse Cougars!
I am excited to begin my third year as the Converse Assistant Principal. Our students, staff, and families persevered through a challenging year and I am looking forward to welcoming everyone back into our building. My mission as an educator has always been to do whatever it takes for all of our students to succeed at high levels.
I began my career as a school counselor. During this time I focused much of my efforts on the social emotional development and well being of children. I developed an appreciation of the multitude of challenges, including trauma, that many of our students deal with every day. Six years ago I became an instructional coach. This position included responsibilities that shifted my focus to also include all things related to academic achievement. Two years ago I was thrilled to accept the Assistant Principal position here at Converse Elementary. I absolutely love my job working with kids, colleagues, and families to provide a safe and supportive place for students to be successful.
I believe it is important for building leaders to be present and visible throughout the school day. I love visiting classrooms to see and interact with all of our Converse students and staff. I look forward to catching up with all of our returning students as well as getting to know all of our new kids. You will likely also see me outside around the building before and after school. Feel free to introduce yourself and say hi! I am here to help you and your children in any way. Please reach out to me if I can be of any assistance.
