Letter from Mr. McReynolds

  • Dear Hackett Families,

My name is Ryan McReynolds, and I am excited to begin my third year in the School District of Beloit as the Hackett principal.   Before coming to Hackett, I served as a teacher, coach and administrator in Rockford Public Schools in Rockford, IL and for Hononegah High School.  I love working with children, watching them grow and seeing their hard work pay off. I am from Roscoe, IL and have 3 children of my own - Emma-11, Bentley-6 and Brady-4.

Each day I pledge to honor the great traditions of Hackett and work hard towards building a strong future for our students, school and community.  I have high expectations for all students and staff members, and truly believe that all students can and will succeed. In order for this to happen, we need your support.

Over the last few years, we have made many positive changes to the climate and culture of our school.  In addition, we were recently named a 4-star school in the state of Wisconsin. Hackett is also a responsive classroom school, where we focus on building community, engaging academics and ensuring that all students find belonging, significance and fun.

We appreciate our families and anything that you are willing to do for our students and school.  It is important that we work together for our children so they can reach their fullest potential.

Hackett is exactly where I wanted to be.  Please stop in and say hello.

    Thank you,

    Ryan McReynolds - Principal
    Hackett Elementary
