Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up singing everything possible and began taking piano lessons when I was in third grade. Later, in middle school I learned to play the flute. I sang in the high school choir and took private voice, flute and piano lessons. During my middle and high school years, I also sang in the church choir and played in the church handbell choir. I performed in Solo & Ensemble every year, in woodwind choirs, bands, and other small ensembles. I began working in the School District of Beloit on and off in 2001. I have been employed as the music teacher at Robinson Elementary since 2010.
When I am not playing music or teaching, I enjoys running, reading, spending time with my husband, two sons and dog, baking, and working in my garden.
