Dear Gaston Families,

Welcome to the Gaston Bandit Family! I’ve been so grateful to serve as Gaston Principal since 2019. I am a mom of one teenage son, as well as a dog and cat mom. In my free time, I enjoy camping, boating, and reading. I’ve been in education since 1999 in various grade levels as a champion for public schools. I love to watch the growth that all children experience over the elementary years.

At Gaston, we value inclusive, equitable, and safe schooling for our diverse school community. Part of Gaston’s mission is to partner with families and the community to provide a high-quality education as well as fostering the love of learning. Our vision is that when students leave Gaston they will be empowered, confident, and successful learners!

ALL families are welcomed at Gaston and we aim to partner with you to support your child. Our Gaston staff is amazing and we work together as a team with our families. Welcome Bandit Families to a new school year! 

I come with a variety of experience across the PK-12 school environment. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation with an emphasis in Deaf Studies, a master’s degree in School Counseling and completed post masters work to obtain my principal licensure. I have had the privilege of serving the PK-12 school system in Wisconsin as a Special Education Teacher, School Counselor, Dean of Students, Associate Principal and Principal. I look forward to continuing in the Assistant Principal role at Gaston where I can be on the ground-level working directly with students on a daily basis. 

I’m thrilled to be part of a team of teachers, staff, parents and students who want to achieve great things! Our administrative team, along with our faculty and staff are looking forward to a new school year and are working hard to see that your child’s learning experience at Gaston is a successful and happy one. 

Your partnership and support are key elements to ensuring that we are able to maximize each student’s educational and personal development. To that end, we encourage a positive home-school relationship based on the mutual goal of providing the best learning experience possible for all of our students. Our talented faculty brings a diverse set of approaches to instruction in order to address a variety of student learning styles.
