Beloit Memorial EXPO
A huge thank you to everyone who made out BMHS Expo a success! A true community event - everyone came together to showcase all the opportunities available at BMHS and in our community. Thank you to all the future Purple Knights and their families who joined us to learn about our academies, educational opportunities, athletics, activities, clubs, and much more. We can't wait to do it again next year!

Nilson Art Supply Donation
Thank you to the Nilson Family for continuing their annual art supply drive started by Adam Nilson 13 years ago. Thanks to their generosity, every Merrill and Todd student picked out two art supplies to take home and enjoy. We appreciate the support of everyone in the community who contributed and made this a memorable day for our students.

Annual Shop with a Hero Event
The annual Shop with a Hero event took place on Saturday, December 9, at the Beloit Walmart. Thank you to our student services staff and community partners for making this a memorable experience for our students. A shout-out to City of Beloit Fire Department, City of Beloit Police Department, Beloit Township Fire Department, Town of Beloit Police Department, Wisconsin Army National Guard, First National Bank and Trust, and Walmart Beloit.

Community Appreciation Night
We honored, recognized, and thanked deserving students, staff, and community partners during our December Community Appreciation Night. Congratulations to our outstanding students, Luka Kovac, Maxwell Allen, and Anahi Arroyo; staff, Amy Mehltretter, Jennifer Smithyman, Joe Vrydaghs, Debora Prowse, Brian Michels, Heidi Andre, Thomas Bricco, and Judy Wilson; and community partner Beloit Fresh Start.

Holiday Cards
Our Converse and Gaston students created cards for nursing home residents. From gingerbread houses to hot cups of cocoa to polar bears, they created beautiful cards to spread some holiday cheer.

Generous Donation from Woodman's
Thank you to the employees at Woodman's - Beloit, WI for their overwhelmingly generous donation to our unaccompanied and homeless youth program. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our students.

12th Annual WIAA Sportsmanship Summit
Beloit Memorial High School student-athletes Alan Cardoza, Essence Coleman, Tucker Sherrod, and Head Boys Soccer Coach Brian Denu accompanied Athletic Director Jon Dupuis to the 12th Annual WIAA Sportsmanship Summit in Stevens Point. Our athletes engaged in discussions and activities aimed at fostering teamwork, fair play, and ethical behavior in high school athletics. The summit provided a platform for these athletes to learn about the importance of sportsmanship, leadership, and integrity on and off the field.

Ecology Fair at Hackett Elementary
The Welty Environmental Center and Beloit Fresh Start students hosted an ecology fair at Hackett Elementary School. It was incredible to see the interactions, the hands on learning, the smiles, and the connections that were made. We appreciate this awesome partnership.

Donation from Stainless Tank & Equipment
Stainless Tank & Equipment (STE) donated thousands of dollars worth of materials for our welding classes and students. They will also collaborate with us to train our students for careers with STE. This is the kind of impactful donation and support that truly makes a difference in the lives of our students – thank you STE!

Craftsman with Character
Our BMHS Craftsman with Character students stopped by Blackhawk Technical College and were immersed in the automotive and diesel technician programs through hands on activities. We believe in ensuring our students are career, college, and community ready upon graduation. Thanks for being a partner with us Blackhawk Technical College!
