    • Tour of REACH: Advanced Career Education Facilities Offered

      As part of Career and Technical Education Month, Beloit Memorial High School’s REACH: Advanced Career Education program will be showcased during a tour of the program’s facilities, open to the community.  The tour will be held:  February 23, 2016, 5:00-6:30 pm, at Beloit Memorial High Schoo (1225 Fourth Street, Beloit).  Guests are asked to sign up for the tour in advance via this online form. The online form also offers the option to request a tour at a later date for those that cannot come on February 23.

    • Location Change for Board Meetings

      The School District of Beloit Board of Education will begin rotating their committee meetings/special board meeting on the second Tuesday of each month to different intermediate school locations, starting with the February 9th committee/special board meetings.  The first meeting location selected is Cunningham Intermediate.  Times and agendas are determined the week before the board meetings and can be found online at: beloitschools.net/board.  Board meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, with the meetings held on the fourth Tuesday, including the televised business meeting, remaining at the Kolak Education Center.

    • Youth Basketball Clinics

      There will be a series of youth basketball clinics to teach students in grades 3-8 the fundamentals, skills and strategies of the game.  Clinics will be held at the Beloit Memorial High School Barkin Arena (1224 Fourth Street) on the following dates: 

      March 6, 13, 20 and 27

      3/4 Grades, 1:00-2:15 pm

      5/6 Grades, 2:30-4:00 pm

      7/8 Grades, 4:15-5:45 pm

      The clinics are free.  RSVP is requested to:  Teshona Bennett at coachbennett10@gmail.com.

    • sun Summer School 

      Students going into grades 4K through 12 next year can take advantage of summer school set for June 20 to July 29, 2016.  Locations and program information will be coming soon!
