• Soccer Semi-Sectional Game

      After winning the Regional Championship last week, our BMHS boys soccer team will be competing Thursday, October 23, at 4:00 pm in the WIAA Sectional Semi-Final vs. Madison Memorial!  The competition will be held on the Goodman Pitch field at the Reddan Soccer Park (6874 Cross Country Rd, Verona).  Admission is $5 per person (children preschool age and younger are free).   Good luck to our Knights!

    • Community Members Needed for Committee

      The School District of Beloit Board of Education has approved the formation of an ad hoc committee to review diversity issues in the district and community.   The Board is in the initial stages of recruiting volunteers from the community that represent our diverse population to serve on the committee.  All applications will be reviewed by the entire board for final selection.  Those interested may contact Michelle Shope, Board Secretary, at

    • Drama Day
      Students in grades 4-8 are invited to spend a day with experienced BMHS theatre students playing fun and exciting drama games and rehearsing short skits that will be performed on the BMHS stage for all of the parents at the end of the day.  This will take place on a no-school day:  Friday, November 14, 8am-3:30 pm.  Cost is $25, which includes a mid-morning snack, pizza lunch and certificate of participation.  To sign-up, please download this registration form and mail it in with payment before Nov. 12.

    • Moonlight Bowling!
      Orchestra Fundraiser
      bowling lane A night of bowling fun will help the BMHS Orchestra get to New York City this April to participate in the Heritage Festival.  The fundraiser will be November 15, 2014 at Diamond Lanes with choice of bowling times:  6-8 pm or 8:30-10:30 p.m.  The cost is $10 for three games (Scotch Doubles), 50/50 raffle, and silent auction.  To sign-up, please contact Hannah Filipiak, Orchestra Director, at 361-3037 or

      In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, and fiscally responsible, we are eliminating most of our fax machine lines in favor of scanning to email, effective this September 2014.     Converse School Converse Named Wisconsin Spotlight School
    Converse Elementary School was recently notified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) that it will be one of a small handful of schools to be featured as a 2014-15 Spotlight School for other schools in the state to observe and emulate.   Click here to read more.
    BMHS Senior Awards High School Seniors Accept Over $4.2 Million in Scholarships

    Jazz Band Receives National Honor
    The Beloit Memorial Jazz Band, under the direction of Chris Behrens just received their invitation to participate at Essentially Ellington. The nations most prestigious High School Jazz Band competition and festival held at the Lincoln Center in New York.
