      Please join our educators in this year's Business-Education Summit, set for August 26, 8:00-10:00 a.m. at the Garden Hotel and Conference Center in South Beloit.  The summit includes a panel of new leaders in the area, including Superintendent Johnson, who will share their vision for moving their organizations forward.  Please register by August 20 via this registration form on the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce website.

        Free:  band music, picnic food, face painting, jump house, haircuts and school supplies.

      The US Department of Agriculture has partnered with our community to provide free meals (breakfast & lunch) to kids all summer long.  There are no income requirements and any child age 18 and under may come to eat.   Please click here for a list of the locations and hours.

      Five 2-week sessions.  First session begins June 8.

    School secretaries wear hats of numerous titles and colors and shapes – daily, they direct the flow of the student population, answer phone calls, and sometimes act as a sounding board when needed.   Read More.
    AP Scholars Advanced Placement Scholars
    Thirty students from Beloit Memorial High School (BMHS) have earned AP Scholar Awards by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program Exams.  Read more here.  
    Fruzen School Fruzen School Opening this Fall
    The Fruzen Intermediate School, final project of the 2012 Facilities Referendum, will open this fall for students in grades 4 through 8.  A dedication ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015, 1:00-2:30 p.m., followed by tours and refreshments.
    Graduates Graduation Rates Leading the Pack
    The Beloit Graduation Rate Statistics Released by DPI. Beloit Memorial increased the 2014 graduation rate by 8.4% to 91.2%, higher than the state average, and lead the pack in almost every category.  Read more here.  Data was presented to the Board of Education; the powerpoint (in PDF format) is available here.
