Kids Against Hunger

As a service project students in the Beloit Memorial High School's National Honor Society organized a Kids Against Hunger food drive.  They collected approximately 285,000 meals which were assembled, packaged and boxed for shipping enroute to Guatemala.  Students began the planning process last April and it finally became reality on Friday, November 2nd.  

This was a true community event with hundreds of BMHS students, several organization frm Beloit and Rock County as well as students from 
Turner High  School, Janseville Craig and Parker High Schools as well as Rock Counth Christian High School.  In addition, the National Honor Society was able to raise approximately $20,000 from the community to help support this wonderful event.
