Beloit Memorial junior Sean Leavy II captured first place in a four-team invitational hosted by The Lincoln Academy at Leeson Park on Thursday.

Leavy finished in 18:25.5 for the 5,000-meter course. The Lincoln Academy took the next two spots with sophomore Deputie Douglas finishing in 18:42 followed by senior Julian Majia-Cruz in 19:52.4. Rounding out the top five were Beloit Memorial’s Arthur Duffy (20:41.4) and Diego Santos (20:48.1).

Durand’s top finisher was Travys Ross in sixth (21:54.2) while North Boone’s top finisher was Michael Mastroianni in seventh (21:54.2).

In the girls division, Durand junior Ella Vanderheyden finished first in 25:01.1, followed by The Lincoln Academy seniors Nahomi Douglas in second (25:58.6) and Acasha Douglas in third (25:59.2). Beloit Memorial freshman Tamia Rebout was fourth (26:19.6) followed by teammate Jennifer Martinez-Giles (30:07.5).

No team scores were kept for the meet.
