Alumni Update: Shelvin Garrett II earns All-Region accolades
The Beloit Memorial High School graduate earned an All-Midwest Region accolade from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for his performance during the 2022 outdoor season.

School District of Beloit Summer School Enrollment Nearly Doubles
In 2021, summer school enrollment was 670, and this year enrollment is over 1,300. Session 1 of summer school began June 21 and will end July 8. Session 2 will begin July 11 and end July 29.

BMHS Student set to attend Harvard this fall
Beloit Memorial High School student Dalton Raykowski has been set on attending an Ivy League school for a few years now, but the prestigious Harvard University was actually not at the top of his list. “I was pretty set on going to Columbia,” Raykowski said. “I know Harvard will open so many doors when it comes to graduate schools and internships and I can’t really be disappointed in going there.”

Both students received an invitation to the exclusive tournament and picked up a few players from Dubuque, Iowa, for the trip. They played five games in two days and finished fifth.
