Newsela

Newsela publishes daily nonfiction news articles at five reading levels on high-interest topics for students in grades 4-12. Using Newsela, teachers can engage all their students, both active and reluctant readers, in thoughtful conversations about complex issues and current events.

School District of Beloit (SDB) students can access Newsela by logging in to Clever and selecting the Newsela App. Students log in to Clever using their SDB username and password or by selecting "Log in with Google" if it is available.

Students can also log in to Newsela directly through the Newsela website by accessing the "Visit Website" link above. Once the Newsela website is active, students should use their SDB username and password to log in or select "Log in with Google" if it is available.
