SDB's 18-21 Services

Transition Connections (18-21 Transition Services)

The School District of Beloit’s transition services provide community-based instruction to students with disabilities, ages 18-21, based on students’ Individualized Educational Program (IEP) and post-secondary transition goals in the areas of: Vocational Skills, Daily Living Skills, Recreation and Leisure Skills, Transportation/Mobility within the Community, Communication Skills within the community, and Self-Advocacy/Self- Determination Skills.

Project Search

Project SEARCH is a one-year school-to-work transition service for students with intellectual disabilities to gain the necessary skills to reach the end goal of competitive and integrated employment. Services are offered through a collaboration between the schools, DVR, and the host businesses.
