Interest Centers
Interest Centers are an essential part of our 4K programming.
Students will learn in small peer groups, individually, or in a teacher-directed group. We support independent and group learning while encouraging peer activities and socialization.
Daily centers could include:
- Communication
- Reading
- Writing
- Math
- Blocks
- Dramatic Play
(kitchen, pet clinic, school, roller rink, etc...) - Sensory or light table
- Table toys
- Science
- Art
- Technology
Within the centers they might be working on:
- Colors
- Names
- Numbers
- Shapes
- Letters
- Sounds
- Listening
- Speaking
- Reading
