2026 Summer School Course Catalog (Grades 9-12)

Welcome to the 2026 Summer Session! Whether you are looking to catch up on credits or get a head start on your graduation requirements, we have a path for you. Please view the entire 2026 High School Course Catalog for all summer school information.

The Essentials

Dates: Tuesday, June 23 – Thursday, July 30, 2026

Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Location: Beloit Memorial High School

No School: July 3rd, 6th, and 17th


Registration & Rules

How to Sign Up: 

  1. Register via Skyward Family Access starting Monday, April 27, 2026.
  2. Select your courses in Skyward. Courses are first-come, first-served.

Attendance Matters:

  • Initial Credit: Daily attendance is mandatory. Three absences may result in removal from the course without a grade.
  • Credit Recovery: Daily participation is required. Students must show adequate progress to avoid removal.

"Get Back on Track"

Credit recovery courses are self-paced using the APEX system and should be completed in six weeks.

English

English 9, 10, 11, & 12

Focuses on reading, writing, and speaking; written assignments required.

Math

Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2

Covers theory, abstract concepts, and algebraic manipulation.

Science

Physical Science 9, General Biology

Explore chemistry, physics, and ecology.

Social Studies

U.S. History, World History, American Democracy

Studies from early man to modern government.

Business

Personal Finance

Practical math for daily life (taxes, banking, investing).

Note: If you failed Term 2 or 4, sign up for Part 2.


Physical Education Academy & Health

Available for both Credit Recovery and "Get Ahead" Initial Credit (Grades 9-12).

  • Health (0.5 Credit): Focuses on wellness, mental health, and substance abuse prevention.
  • General PE (0.5 Credit): Includes fitness, team activities, and a swim unit.

Note: Students must provide their own attire/swimsuit and purchase a padlock at BMHS.
