Senior Cruise permission slips are now available outside Mr. De Koks' room, E103, in the folder on the bulletin board outside his classroom. Cost of the trip is 25 dollars which covers your transportation, food and cruise. Space is limited to 100 seniors. Cash is preferred, no checks please! Parents must sign your form. We will leave Beloit at 4:30pm and return around 10pm. Cruise will go rain or shine. Plan to bring sunglasses, your yearbook, and your phone to take pictures! This is a tradition that has been going since 1990! DEADLINE TO TURN IN PERMISSION SLIPS IS MAY 31ST OR WHEN THE CRUISE IS FULL.
Seniors who received invitations to the Senior Awards Night on Wednesday are reminded of your practice on this morning at 8:45 am in the auditorium. Staff, a list was sent to your email.
As previously promised, we are going to be giving Juniors exam exemptions if they met any of the ACT benchmarks. Juniors must bring in scores that were mailed or be able to show scores on the online account. Students can receive an exam exemption for the area(s) that they reached the benchmark in (English, Math, Science). Students must bring scores to Mrs. Thompson in order to receive their exemption slips by May 31st.
National Art Honor Society members and art club members, please see Mr. Stout or Ms. Carpenter to get your permission slip for chalk the walk this Wednesday. We will be doing chalk paintings all day out front.
Any current Sophomore or Junior wishing to be a Link Leader next year must complete an application. Applications can be picked up from Mrs. Andre in D118, Mr. DeKok in E103, Ms. Hoppe in D210 or Mrs. Randall in D212. Applications must be completed by Wednesday, May 24th and turned into Mr. DeKok in E103. There is also an on-line portion of the application that must be completed by the same date. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!!!!!
Students: Yearbooks will arrive AFTER Memorial Day. Many announcements will be made when they are ready for pick up. You may purchase one during distribution for $60 cash ONLY. They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

This meeting is for anyone in the graduating classes of 2018, 2019 and 2020. You are all invited to hear more about the trip of a lifetime to ICELAND the summer of 2018.
Attention anyone interested in playing girls volleyball next fall! There will be a mandatory meeting on Friday morning at 7:35 in Mrs. Gamble's room, D102. The following track team relay teams and individuals qualified for the sectional track meet this coming Thursday; the girl's 800 meter relay team ( Jazmyne Carter, Ja'Naejah Logan,Lakira Monrow, Adela Diaz), girls 1600 meter relay team (Jazmyne Carter, Amya Bessel, Yolonda Johnson, Adela Diaz), girls 3200 meter relay team (Bailey Cronin, Amya Bessel, Jenny Aldama, Heaven Wells), Boys' 1600 meter relay team( Phil Selmer, Alberto Martinez, Malik Smith , Kobe Chandler), Eva Laun-Smith and Yolonda Johnson in the high hurdles, Yolonda Johnson, Adela Diaz, and Alberto Martinez in the 300 low hurdles, Eric Bridges in the 200 meter dash, Phi Selmer in the 400 meter dash, Tavien Payton in the long and triple jump, Daryen Gaines in the high jump, Amourri Grosskopf in the disc, and Eva Laun-Smith in the long and triple jump. These athletes are one step closer to the qualifying for the state track meet. Congratulations!
