YES (Youth Emotional Stability) Summit

  • Suicide is a silent killer among teenagers. Studies have shown risky behavior in teens usually starts because of how they see their importance to others around them; from substance abuse to self-harm some experts say small things can end up being life-changing.

Through the annual YES Summit, attendees learned how to help build social emotional health through workshops with mental health professionals. This event focuses on a diverse audience, including teachers, family service and social workers, parents, foster parents, child caregivers, child counselors, community mental health providers, juvenile justice professionals, health provides, clergy who work with youth and their families and more.
The summit is one of several events through YES! in Rock County.  For more information, please click here.
