Vision Statements

We envision a Royce student as a self-disciplined, independent learner who works cooperatively and respectfully with others.

We envision a Royce staff member as a highly qualified, skilled instructor with high expectations for all who inspires students and families by focusing on success for each individual.

We envision our curriculum as being focused on high academic and personal achievement.

We envision our school environment as a warm, welcoming, respectful community which is safe and inclusive, where parents and other community members are involved and supportive.

As part of this vision we want to continue to develop the following:

  1. A strong academic program supporting district and state standards.
  2. Collaborative opportunities for staff in assisting students to achieve success.
  3. The use of technology as a tool for teaching and learning.
  4. A strong program that links home and school and involves parents in student achievement.
  5. An emphasis on "Life Skills" such as responsibility, respect, caring, etc. which are necessary for students to be successful.
  6. Opportunities for students to work in smaller groups to assist in student achievement.
  7. Extended day activities that would allow for additional opportunities for student growth.
