Crew Chief/Team Manager: Peter Raskovic

Pete Raskovic has been heart and soul and the right arm of Ken Hendricks in the formation of this newly designed High School Technical program to give at-risk students a viable alternative to succeed in class and graduate. While the model program is being instituted at Beloit Memorial High School, the hope for similar programs across the country is now in the planning stages. Pete is originally from the Easton, Pennsylvania and is now teaching automotive technology in Beloit, Wisconsin. Pete brings a wealth of knowledge to Urban Force Racing. He is an ASE Certified Master Technician with over 22 years experience and has worked as a mechanic crew/member for eastern dirt modified teams. His duties will include the everyday management of the team as it readies itself for competition in 2007. Pete will also oversee the day-to-day operations as well as the student team members from the school that will be selected to work and maintain the racing equipment in the shop and pit side at MIS.

Chassis Specialist: Steve Bruno

Steve Bruno comes to Urban Force Racing with more than 30 years of automotive experience with an expertise in suspension and alignment setup. Steve was the owner/operator of Green Lane Garage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While running a full service repair shop, Steve’s specialty was chassis and suspension setup, including off road 4x4, antique and classic restoration, exotic collision repair, and racecar set up. Steve is an ASE certified master technician and has been around racing for more than 30 years, first in go carts, then drag racing way back in the “car club” days of the sixties and early seventies, and later in amateur auto cross and hill climbing. In the summer of 1992, Steve ran in Car and Driver’s “One Lap of America” as part of the Manayunk Race Team.  Steve is currently the senior automotive technology instructor at the Western Center for Technical Studies located in Limerick, Pennsylvania. Steve's experience and success in working with at-risk youth is a valuable asset to the Urban Force Racing family.

Mechanic-Car Chief:  Terry Johnson

 Mechanic-Tires:  Ryan "The Krusher" Kruser

Life Choices Coach:  Honorable Judge James Beer

Team "Life Choices" Coach:  The Honorable Jim Beer
Hometown:  Monroe Wisconsin
Married, Five Children
Profession: Circuit Judge Green County, Wisconsin

"The Judge", as we refer to Jim on the team, is responsible for providing a weekly "life choices" talk with student crew members. Before every feature race, Jim  speaks with the entire crew about his experience as a circuit judge and about the choices that today's youth must make to become successful, contributing citizens. Jim's experience working with youth in a mentor capacity goes back many years. One of our favorite talks that Jim gives is the "You Don't Want to Wind Up in My Courtroom" session. This talk really gets the youth thinking about the negative consequences, both long-term and short-term, of making bad choices in life. Jim's race day responsibilities also include recording and entering technical data for the race car.

Media/Public Relations: Steve Pados

Steve is the most recent signing with Urban Force Racing. His family was among the patriarch families who competed at the now defunct Nazareth and Flemington Speedways in the Northeast. While his knowledge is mainly in the dirt arenas, he is working hard at coming up to speed with new UFR race team.  Currently, he and his brothers host the very popular Cable TV and Internet Show "CARQUEST Gasoline Alley” that airs every Monday night from 6 to 8 PM in the Lehigh Valley. Steve writes and produces the show and has produced other sports related shows in the past. Prior to TV, the race show aired for three years on Radio. Steve has worked in many areas of the media and public relations including Announcing at Lake Mocatek and Hamlin Speedways in Pennsylvania, and doing emcee, voiceover, and guest spot work in many avenues of the motor sports and sporting world.
