Concert Choir

Concert Choir is the core mixed chorus of the BMHS Choir Program.  Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who have successfully completed 9th Grade Chorus, Treble Choir, or who successfully complete an audition are eligible to participate in this performing ensemble. 

Concert Choir students must commit to participating for the entire academic year.  Independent musicianship is vital, since intermediate - advanced choral literature written for 4 - 8 voice parts will be studied and performed by this group.  Continued study of sight-singing, music theory, vocal production, and ear-training ensures that all members achieve a high level of musical competency and excellence.

This choir performs at 3 - 4 major concerts each year.  Additional performances at school assemblies and around the greater Beloit community may also be required.  Voice lessons and attendance at band, choir, and orchestra concerts in the community are encouraged for all singers.
