9th Grade Chorus

All incoming 9th grade students who would like to participate in the BMHS Choir Program must enroll in 9th Grade Chorus.  This is a mixed chorus that focuses on building essential music theory, sight-singing, ear-training, and vocal production skills necessary to become an effective high school vocal musician.  9th Grade Chorus meets for the entire academic year.

Members of 9th Grade Chorus perform at 3 - 4 major concerts each year.  Beginning to intermediate high school choral literature written for 3 - 4 parts from a variety of genres representing all relevant musical time periods will be studied.  Voice lessons and attendance at band, choir, and orchestra concerts in the community are encouraged for all singers.
