Welcome to the Beloit Memorial High School
Choir Department!
BMHS Choir Department Goals:
-
To help students learn how to sing healthily,
efficiently, and artistically using proper fundamentals of vocal production.

To build competent musicianship in all members
through music theory study and daily sight-singing exercises.

To foster the respect and teamwork that is
necessary to produce high quality choral performances, both among the singers
themselves and between the singers and the director.

To develop an understanding and appreciation of
quality choral repertoire from diverse genres and musical time periods.

To inspire students to achieve individual and
collective success in choir, academic coursework, and beyond.
