Beloit Memorial High School Business Department

Beloit Memorial FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America)

Technologically Innovative and Academically Excellent

The Beloit Memorial High School Business Department teaches fifteen different courses. The courses are designed to challenge students academically and at the same time give them a completive advantage with real-world on-the-job experience.
The Beloit Memorial High School Business Department features three computer labs, and a computer in all other Business Department classrooms.
Students also have the opportunity to participate with the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organization and learn leadership and people skills while positively contributing to the Beloit area through community service. FBLA also challenges students by giving them the opportunity to compete at the Regional, State and National  level(s).

Business Occupations CO-OP

The Beloit Memorial High School Business Department has a Business Occupations CO-OP course.  By taking this course a student may work at an approved job site to receive on-the-job training in the business/office career of their choice.
The purpose of the Business Occupations CO-OP is not to merely allow students to work during school, but to supplement a rigorous high school curriculum. The Business Occupations CO-OP is most comparable to a University/College of Business's internship program(s).
A student may take Business Occupations CO-OP by taking the following Business courses:
                Business Occupations
                Accounting 2
                Word Processing 1
