that skills should be taught in isolation, that I should use time tests of basic facts, that students should mostly work individually, and that students should have daily rote practice in skills.
Now I believe,
that skills are intertwined with concepts, that students work individually, with a partner, or in groups, that students can practice using manipulatives, and that students can think at higher levels.

WELCOME TEACHERS!

This portion of the web site contains streaming video of Investigations lessons that are password protected. The quality of the video depends on the speed of the network at the time of the viewing. Two streaming versions of each lesson have been made. The 256K version is higher video and audio quality, but may stall from time to time if the network gets busy. There is a 112K version with lower video quality, but should stream with little if any stalling.

QuickTime is needed to view these movies.

Videos can only be view from within the School District of Beloit network.
